A collection of recipes and beautiful images gathered at different times, in different places, all strictly in our Alps: sometimes the recipes come from a prestigious relais & chateaux, other times from a small but charming inn that have, in different ways, managed to link their cuisine to the territory and the seasons.
100 recipes divided by the rhythm of the seasons and accompanied by beautiful photographs not only of the dish but also of the ingredients and the territory.
«Polenta e Ciaspole» brings together what Adriano Bacchella, a photographer with the spirit of an explorer, found along the way. The book collects images, of course, but also recipes, stories, emotions, and memories. Polenta, to celebrate the simple ruggedness of the mountains and some of its foods. Ciaspole (snowshoes), to express astonishment at the sight of something thought to be lost in time and which, instead, proves effective despite its "vintage" appearance.
